The International Journal of Bahamian Studies Call for papers

Librarians, students, researchers at home and abroad, submit your papers to the International Journal of Bahamian Studies.

"International Journal of Bahamian Studies is a scholarly peer-reviewed research journal published by The College of The Bahamas.

The major purposes of the journal are to disseminate products of research and academic activity which are relevant to The College and The Bahamas, and to stimulate participation in such activity by members of The College and the national research community.

Each volume should present a mix of articles, based on scientific and sustained analytic enquiry, book or media reviews of scholarly interest and advocacy papers.

The journal will publish original research on The Bahamas or with significant Bahamian content as well as research of regional or comparative interest. Contributions may be in any field of knowledge, but should communicate effectively with readers who are not specialists in the field.

Scholars working in the the area of Bahamian studies - in any discipline - are invited to submit manuscripts for consideration to the International Journal of Bahamian Studies. Please use the manuscript submission module - or send the manuscript directly to the Managing Editor of the journal by e-mail."

Submission guidelines

"The International Journal of Bahamian Studies will produce one volume annually - typically in the month of October.
The deadline for manuscript submission is May 15th of each year. Extraordinary volumes may be published as the need arises (such as conference proceedings or issues on special topics)."
